From farming to finance

I began my financial career in 2001 as a bank teller in Griffith, New South Wales, after growing up on my family’s nearby farm.

My love of helping people with their money brought me to Canberra and a role providing general financial advice to ComSuper (now called CSC) members and pensioners. This led to a position at the Department of Finance working in their superannuation policy team.

In 2014 I decided to return to a more hands-on role helping Australians make the most of their money. I started advising with an AMP firm.

Going my own way

After being a First State Super Financial Planner of the Year award nominee in 2017, I launched my own business offering financial advice to busy professionals, senior-public servants, business owners and their families. I started the business with Fitzpatricks Private Wealth in 2018 and changed licensees and the business to Thomson Wealth in 2024.

I have built a business that provides flexible, highly personalised service to a limited number of valued clients.

In 2021, I was nominated for two prestigious industry awards for our advice services.

It’s a balance

Life is busy as a successful business owner, mother and wife. I enjoy balancing my career by spending time with family, cross-country running on Mt Ainslie, wine and coffee.

I enjoy empowering and helping people find ease and enjoy life to the fullest.

I provide administration support to Gianna and Thomson Wealth as their client services officer. My role includes supporting the team with superannuation and insurance research, processing implementation documents and applications.

I finished my bachelor's degree in Business Administration, major in Financial Management.

I enjoy writing random articles, literary pieces whenever I see inspiration on random things. A youth-volunteer on a few community youth organizations aiming to promote camaraderie and youth volunteerism, extending helping hands to my fellow youth.

What mesmerize me most are the views of the land and seascapes, and the calming breeze that touches my soul.

One of my all-time favorite coffee is Caramel Macchiato paired with a slice of blueberry cheesecake or a black forest cake.

With nearly 15 years of executive and corporate administrative experience across diverse industries and client engagements, I have developed a strong ability to adapt to varying business environments. My flexibility, professionalism, and broad skill set enable me to align seamlessly with organizational goals and corporate culture.

As the Client Services Officer for Gianna and Thomson Wealth, I provide essential administrative support across various aspects of the financial. My role involves researching superannuation and insurance solutions, processing implementation documents and applications, and assisting the team in delivering a seamless and efficient client experience.

I studied accountancy for two years and finished my bachelor’s degree in business administration, major in Human Resource Management and Development.

Outside of work, I enjoy creating landscape paintings, with watercolor being my preferred medium. I find great satisfaction in capturing the beauty, colors, and atmosphere of natural scenery through art. 

I grew up in Central West NSW and began my journey in financial services with two years in banking, giving me a solid foundation in client care. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Financial Planning, as I’m passionate about helping people achieve their financial goals.

In my role as Client Services Officer, I support Gianna and the team in preparation for Annual Review meetings, ensuring a smooth and personalised experience for Thomson Wealth Clients.
